What to Expect
Children will embark on an exciting outdoor adventure, learning a wide range of skills from fire lighting and den building to leadership and mindfulness. They'll have the chance to work with real tools, explore their creativity, and discover the natural world around them.
Activities may include:
- Building shelters and dens
- Learning to safely light and maintain a fire
- Core survival skills
- Foraging for natural materials
- Bushcraft workshops
- Cooking over a campfire
- Discovering local wildlife, tree species, and ecosystems
- Confidence-boosting games and challenges
- Teamwork and leadership tasks
- Mindfulness and nature-based relaxation
- Immersive storytelling around the fire
A healthy snack will be provided each day, often cooked on the campfire. Children should bring their own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle.
