We are please to announce we have partnered with an e-learning provider to deliver our Introduction to Forest School Course as well as the first module of our Level 3 Forest School Leader Course so you can begin your forest school journey from the comfort of your own home.

Forest School Leader Level 3 Online Module:

FSLI are excited to announce that we have just launched a huge change to our Forest School Leader Program.

We now have the first Module of the award as an online module so you can start your journey to becoming an inspirational forest school leader today, in the comfort of your home!

The Module contains aspects such as the history and development of forest school, links to childcare theorists and covering everything you need to know about setting up your own forest school site. This means that the face to face days can be focused more of the practical implementation of forest school and associated skills.

You will still choose a specifc course and location to complete your training. You can apply for this by clicking on the ticket option for the course you are interested in and then emailing the application form to our office: office@fsli.co.uk

All you need to be eligible for this course is a childcare qualification or relevant childcare experience and a passion for outdoor learning.

Introduction to Forest School Course:

The course is available to Educators (predominantly working with ages 2 - 10 yrs) in both United Kingdom and Australia and is a brilliant opportunity for you to discover the magic and benefits of Forest School. The course is completely Online Based and can be completed at a place and time that suits you.

This introductory course is for those interested in Forest School.

The aim of this training is to give you an awareness and introduction to Forest School, the ethos, issues to consider and practical activities. Content is tailored to meet local course needs.

Training Includes:

- Exploring the principles and background to Forest School

- Holistic Learning Approach

- What is Self-esteem and Self Concept? How to we promote this at Forest School?

- Explore a typical Forest School Session including procedures, routine, and activities.
